About Us
The All Assam Judges Association (AAJA) is a collective body of Judicial Officers of the State of Assam, dedicated to fostering unity, mutual cooperation, and professional growth within the judicial fraternity. The Association serves as a platform for dialogue, exchange of ideas, and collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening the administration of justice.
Rooted in the principles of independence, integrity, and impartiality, the Association works towards safeguarding the dignity of the judiciary, promoting judicial excellence, and upholding the rule of law. It is committed to addressing the concerns and welfare of judicial officers while encouraging academic pursuits, continuing legal education, and initiatives that enhance professional competence.
Through seminars, workshops, publications, and interactive programmes, the Association seeks to enrich the knowledge and skills of its members, enabling them to meet the evolving challenges of justice delivery. It also strives to build bridges between the judiciary and society, thereby reaffirming faith in the justice system.The AAJA stands as a symbol of solidarity among the Judges of Assam, devoted to the cause of justice, fairness, and constitutional values.
Objectives of the Association
The All Assam Judges Association is a nonpolitical and professional organization and it has been constituted with the following objectives:
- Contribute towards the improvement of law, the legal system and the administration of justice.
- Enhancement of judicial professionalism amongst the members by organizing training and sensitization programmes.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing amongst the members by organizing various programs, developing online blogs and publishing journals.
- Improving service conditions of judicial officers and contribute towards the all-around development and welfare of the judicial officers and their family members.
